We are Aiming to Plant a Million Trees in the Philippines! Are You with Us?
Deforestation is one of the problems that we have in the Philippines. Every year we encounter 8 to 14 storms with an average of 5 of them turning into disastrous typhoons. In 2013, due to Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) alone, there were an approximate 10,000 people who died.
To help prevent calamities and restore our natural environment to save us from these kinds of catastrophes, Mondo Project is planting indigenous endemic hardwood trees for every purchase of our shirt in the Philippines. This was made possible through our partnership with FEED (Fostering Education and Environment for Development) Inc, an NGO registered in the Philippines that support sustainable education & tree-planting, aiming to inclusively grow, preserve and protect Philippine biodiversity – marine and terrestrial – flora through integrated social forestry programs, community development initiatives, and scientific and practical research into agricultural, environmental, farming, forestry and fisheries studies.
We seek your support to join us with our mission.
Let us give back and save the planet!
